Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Training

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Training
Overview

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Training is a professional training program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to conduct comprehensive environmental and social impact assessments. The program covers the entire ESIA process, including project screening, scoping, baseline data collection, impact identification and assessment, as well as the preparation of environmental and social management and monitoring plans. The training aligns Indonesia's environmental regulatory framework (AMDAL and UKL-UPL) with the environmental and social safeguard standards of international financing institutions, ensuring participants understand both national compliance requirements and global best practices.

The program is intended for project technical staff, environmental consultants, government officials, and other professionals involved in project planning, permitting, and sustainability management. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify environmental and social risks at the earliest stages of project development, evaluate potential impacts, and develop measurable mitigation and monitoring strategies that support regulatory compliance and sustainable project implementation.
