As part of the Consulting Service for the Construction Supervision of the Patimban Access Toll Road Construction Project, this activity focuses on External Monitoring of Safeguards to ensure that project implementation aligns with the principles of sustainability, social compliance, and protection of affected communities. The monitoring is conducted independently, referring to both national policy frameworks and the applicable safeguard standards of the lending agency.

The scope of work includes monitoring the progress of land acquisition and relocation, assessing the implementation of the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Action Plan (LARAP), evaluating livelihood restoration, verifying grievance redress mechanisms, and mitigating social impacts at the household and community levels.

Monitoring results are presented through periodic reports complemented by strategic recommendations and implementation improvements based on field findings. This approach aims to ensure that the Patimban Toll Road development not only achieves its construction targets but is also carried out in an accountable, equitable manner, and in accordance with the principles of responsible social impact management.
