Training and Workshop on Procedures for Implementing Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest – PLN UPDL Makassar (Phase I)
This project involved the design and delivery of a training and workshop program focused on the procedures and regulatory framework for land acquisition for development in the public interest (Pengadaan Tanah bagi Pembangunan untuk Kepentingan Umum), in collaboration with PLN UPDL Makassar.
The training provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, administrative, and technical procedures in land acquisition under Indonesian Law No. 2/2012 and its implementing regulations. The program also emphasized stakeholder coordination, compensation mechanisms, grievance redress management (GRM), and social safeguard practices relevant to infrastructure and energy sector projects.
Through interactive sessions and case-based discussions, the workshop strengthened the institutional and practical capacity of PLN personnel in managing land acquisition efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with both national laws and social safeguard principles.
