Overview

This assignment involves conducting a comprehensive Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and associated safeguard studies for the industrial/nickel processing development by IHIP & HNI in South Sulawesi. The consultancy covers the preparation of LARAP, surveys of social, economic and land acquisition impacts, stakeholder engagement, grievance redress mechanism (GRM) design, and assurance of compliance with the international standards (Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards). The goal is to support the client in implementing the project in a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable manner, ensuring that land acquisition, resettlement, community impacts and environmental risks are managed to international best practice.
