Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) Document for the Rongkong Multipurpose Dam Project, South Sulawesi
This consultancy focuses on the preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) and supporting documentation for the Rongkong Multipurpose Dam Project located in South Sulawesi. The assignment covers comprehensive environmental baseline studies, impact prediction and evaluation, public consultation processes, and the formulation of mitigation and monitoring plans to ensure that the dam development complies with both Indonesian environmental regulations and international good practice.
The study assesses potential impacts on river hydrology, water quality, aquatic ecosystems, terrestrial biodiversity, land use, and social conditions within the project area. It also includes preparation of the Environmental Management Plan (RKL) and Environmental Monitoring Plan (RPL), along with documentation required for the Environmental Permit (Izin Lingkungan).
By integrating engineering, environmental, and socio-economic considerations, this project aims to provide a scientifically sound and regulatory-compliant environmental framework that supports sustainable and responsible dam construction and operation in the Rongkong River Basin.
